Description
Colombia is the world’s best known coffee producer and ranks third in coffee production next to Brazil and Vietnam. Its high altitudes, dry climate, and well drained volcanic soil provide ideal conditions to produce some of the world’s best coffee. Colombia is one of the only countries that produces 100% Arabica coffee beans, hand-picked on small farms. Hand-picking ensures that only beans at peak are harvested. Thus, only the best beans make it to your cup. Both coffee aficionados and first time consumers will delight in our Colombian Medium Roast.
When you think of a classic cup of coffee, it is rare that a Colombian doesn’t come to mind first. Our Colombian Medium Roast is the perfect middle of the road coffee to please any coffee drinker. We take ours to a delicious golden brown medium roast. Not too light and not too dark. This well balanced coffee will leave your taste buds reaching for another cup of this medium bodied pleasing brew. Try it out with a drip machine, pour over, French press, or any of your favorite brewing methods work well for this beautiful bean.
If you love our Colombian coffee we recommend trying out our Brazilian Full City Roast or our Breakfast Blend.

It’s THE classic coffee. Every time I go to Union Place Laurie brews me up a different roast/flavor to try, which is a great perk (no pun intended) to visiting the shop, but the Colombian is my “go-to” roast. It’s a beautiful full-flavor roast that is pure coffee heaven. I don’t like coffee that has heavy flavor tones, especially those that taste overly fruity or grassy. This one, to me, is just full of quintessential coffeeness–no weird notes that get in the way of the coffee flavor. I use it in a drip coffee maker, my Keurig, and in my french press for both hot and iced coffee. I only use 1/2 & 1/2 in my coffee. Even strong, there is no bitterness with this roast. If you’re not sure what your coffee preferences are, or if you’re buying a gift for someone, you can’t go wrong with this
